In the course of a gala at BRUNO in Brunn am Gebirge, the most sustainable waste management projects of Lower Austria were awarded for the 2nd time with the “Skarabäus”. Around 100 representatives from politics, business and the press attended the award ceremony – hosted by the Waste and Resource Management Division of the WKNÖ – Lower Austrian Economic Chamber. Moderated by Olivia Peter, the prize was awarded in four categories and the winners were honored on the spot. Lower Austria’s innovative strength also caused enthusiasm among representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and the Province of Lower Austria.
For the second time in a row, Putz & Stingl was responsible for the event conception, planning and implementation. This was supported by targeted PR & media work as well as the conception and implementation of a highlight movie, for which the communication agency was also responsible. Special focus was also placed on the development of a COVID-19 prevention concept tailored to the event in order to ensure the safety of the guests on site. “In times of COVID-19, event planning in particular must be flexible, but at the same time implemented in a highly professional manner. That events are nevertheless possible is shown by the successful gala at BRUNO,” says project manager Sonja Krottendorfer proudly. PR & media manager Tamara Soffried adds: “Especially now it is important to highlight sustainable projects. The WKNÖ shows with the price, the high innovation strength that can be found in Lower Austria. Our accompanying press work has helped to generate even more coverage for this important topic.”
