Ingram Micro TOP21 VR Edition inspires as a hybrid event

In line with the company’s motto “Realize the Promise of Technology”, the Ingram Micro TOP21 Virtual Edition took place for the first time on September 23 as a hybrid event on a specially developed event platform. The Ö3 radio moderator duo Elke Rock and Olivia Peter charmingly guided the participants through the day and welcomed numerous lecture and interview partners in the specially constructed TV studios at Vienna’s Novotel. Virtual booths with almost 50 well-known brands provided the visitors with a certain live trade fair feeling. Particular attention was also paid to personal exchange. A variety of interaction options with the exhibitors, such as audio and video calls or screen sharing, served this purpose. “The first virtual TOP was a complete success: as with the live trade fair, we succeeded in bringing our exhibitors and partners together and initiating new business opportunities. Through the exciting presentations, we were also able to give an insight into further developments in the channel,” Adolf Markones, Executive Managing Director Ingram Micro Austria, is proud.

Together with Ingram Micro, Putz & Stingl was responsible for the conception, project planning and implementation of the TOP21 VR Edition. On site, especially the studio coordination supervised by Putz & Stingl in corporation with Habegger Austria were essential elements for the smooth running of the hybrid event. In addition, the PR & media support as well as the conception and creation of the storyboard for the after movie fell within the scope of the communication agency. “Not only Ingram Micro, but also we were able to demonstrate our broad service portfolio in the course of the event. Our entire team was on site – and it was truly worth it,” says project manager Nina Witti with satisfaction.
