Hybrid Event “Employee protection in times of COVID-19”

On June 9th, 2020, our first hybrid event on “Employee protection in times of COVID-19” in cooperation with the European Agency for Safety and Health Protection at Work (EU-OSHA) took place at the APA press center in Vienna.

Experts from AUVA (General Accident Insurance Institution), the Ministry of Health and the social partners provided important and interesting information on further measures and guidelines for workplaces. More than 300 viewers followed the webinar online and were able to ask live questions using a Q&A chat tool.

“We are happy to take a step towards the future with our first hybrid event. As part of a holistic communication strategy, hybrid events will no longer be indispensable in the future. However, detailed planning should not be underestimated – dramaturgy, interaction and participant management are important components in order to implement a hybrid event and are essential to take it to a higher level than just a simple video call”, states Marlies Wolf, proud project manager of the event.
